Naturelle Cosmetics' Royal Coffee Scrub - Review - Mademoiselle Organic
When I was contacted by Naturelle Cosmetics to review their new Royal Coffee Scrub, I was delighted! I love coffee scrubs and am a big fan of this family-owned UK Company because they use certified organic ingredients in the majority of their products. All their products are also vegan and NOT tested on animals.
Before starting the review, I’d like to include a short paragraph about what Coffee Scrubs are and why they are the latest “must-try” product of many natural skincare lovers.
As the name mentions, Coffee Scrubs are mainly made of… coffee powder (ok, that was an easy guess^^) Coffee has some very interesting properties that make it an ideal ingredient for face and body scrubs:
- By applying to the skin in a gentle circular motion, coffee scrub exfoliates the skin, eliminating dead skin cells and brightening the skin
- Caffeine, the chemical stimulant in coffee, has antioxidant properties, which help to fight premature skin aging like wrinkles, sun spots, and fine lines. A study also found it to be effective to protect the skin from photo aging.
- Caffeine is also moderately effective to mitigate the appearance of cellulite in the short term by tightening and toning the skin, and improving blood circulation in the skin tissue.
- Caffeine can also work as a constrictor to reduce swelling and inflammation
List of ingredients
Coffea Robusta Seed Powder and Coffee Arabica Seed Powder – exfoliating, soothing, anti-inflammatory, and antioxidant – good for cellulite reduction. Robusta beans usually have twice more caffeine than Arabica beans do.
Avocado oil – rich in Vitamin E, anti-oxidant
Jojoba oil – natural skin conditioner, great moisturizer and anti-inflammatory
Almond Ground Seed – gentle exfoliating seeds
Cinnamon Powder and Oil – beautiful scent, anti-oxidant
Apricot Oil – anti-ageing and skin brightening oil
Organic Fragrance – undisclosed mixture of various organic scent ingredients
Apart from the organic fragrance, which can sometimes cause allergies because of the undisclosed ingredients, all other ingredients are really good for the skin and they seem to have been chosen with care.
Royal Coffee Scrubs are available in coconut, cinnamon vanilla, chocolate and more. All variations of Royal Coffee Scrubs are made with EcoCert certified ingredients, however the product itself is not certified organic.
I massaged the scrub in a circular motion for a minute and then rinsed it. I found it to be a very gentle exfoliator, removing dead skin cells, dirt and impurities. My skin felt soft, smooth and moisturized, and I loved the combined aroma of cinnamon, vanilla and coffee. Applying coffee scrub on the skin definitely felt very decadent, just like being pampered at a Balinese spa… without leaving home ? . It’s definitely a great way to wake up and get ready for the day!
I wasn’t able to assess if it actually reduces cellulite as this is something difficult to measure, but I can say that I felt great and beautiful after applying the scrub, and I loved it!
Naturelle Cosmetics’ Royal Coffee Scrub costs AUD 16.51 (Australian Dollars) for 200 grams, which is slightly cheaper than most coffee scrubs available on the market, and definitely worth it given the quality of ingredients used.

Royal coffee scrubs can be bought online. Please click here to access the Naturelle Cosmetics’ website.
Happy pampering!Naturelle Cosmetics’ Royal Coffee Scrub – Review Summary

Yves Rocher Naturelle EDT | Makyaj Blogu ve Kozmetik
Yves Rocher'nin Naturelle Parfümünü yazmak için havaların biraz ısınmasını bekledim. Kışlık parfümleri dolaba kaldırma vakti geldi. Şimdi daha hafif, daha fresh kokular revaçta olacak. Yves Rocher'nin gizli kalmış güzelliklerinden birisini bugün açlıyorum.
Yves Rocher Naturelle EDT…

Naturelle Cosmetics Royal Coffee Scrub Review
Exfoliating your own skin to help remove dead skin cells and dirt is an essential step, and choosing a natural coffee scrub to do so would be a great choice ! These scrubs are especially designed to make the skin feel healthier and younger while providing it with the needed hydration.Over the past three weeks, I was trying the Naturelle Cosmetics Royal Coffee Scrub in tea Tree which is 100% organic and formulated with many natural ingredients. So today I will share with you my thoughts about this scrub and I will give you my opinion about whether it is beneficial for your skin or not!
How to use it ?The best time to use this scrub is during the bath time. All you have to do is rub it against your skin and then rinse it away. This scrub is very lightweight and it does not feel harsh against the skin, it goes away easily with water but it is important that you clean your bath afterwards to remove any oil residue! After many uses of this exfoliator, I noticed that my skin texture was feeling more soft and smooth; this scrub helped hydrating my skin lightly without leaving any greasy feel afterwards.
What does it Contain? This scrub is formulated with Jojoba oil, avocado oil, tea tree oil.All these oils are known to play a big role in the process of exfoliation. It also contains almond seed which is known as a natural moisturizer that helps keeping the skin supple and soft. And finally it contains coffea Arabica Seed Powder and Coffea Robusta Seed Powder which are both known as sources of antioxidants and vitamins.
Final Thoughts Overall, I was really pleased with the result that I got from this scrub. Coffee has many surprising benefits for the skin and combined with many other beneficial oils, it can scrub away dead skin cells to hydrate the new healthy skin underneath! I find this scrub to be the perfect way to pamper yourself and get this beautiful and soft skin without putting too much effort! It is absolutely worth checking out !

Sample & Review:Royal Coffee Scrub in Coconut & Ylang Ylang
I was chosen by Naturelle Cosmetics to sample their new body Coffee scrub the Royal Coffee Scrub in Coconut and Ylang Ylang. As a female in my late 20's I take pride in my appearance. I think if you feel good on the outside you also feel good on the inside! My Sunday home pamper sessions are my favourite evenings in. Its a time I use all my favourite skin, body and hair care products as well as sample and experiment with the newest products in the cosmetics and beauty market so I was extremely excited to try a coffee scrub for the first time!
Royal Coffee Scrub in CoconutThe Royal Coffee Scrub in Coconut ingredients include Coffea arabica seed powder, coffea robusta seed powder, avocado oil, jojoba oil, almond seed and coconut oil. The benefits of using a Coffee body scrub with all natural ingredients is that the caffeine stimulates blood flow in the skin and also helps with blood circulation. It helps reduce scarring, cellulite and stretch marks. The scrub naturally exfoliates dead skin, reduces inflammation & skin redness, smoothes, moisturises, deeply cleanses and hydrates the skin.It also soothes dry/itchy skin, and repairs skin damage.Royal Coffee Scrub in Ylang Ylang Ylang Ylang is one of the most spiritual herbs used in history. It is used in meditation for its calming effect and it also has a very prominent therapeutic aroma which can help with stress relief and anxiety. Research has shown that the Ylang Ylang flower has therapeutic properties which helps the body and mind. The Royal Coffee Scrub in Ylang Ylang also contains other ingredients such as Coffea arabica seed powder, Coffea robusta seed powder which can tighten the skin and prevent the skin from sagging. It also contains Jojoba oil which contains exfoliation elements to clean the skin thoroughly and remove old skin cells. Apricot oil, almond seeds and avocado oil is also in the Ylang Ylang scrub which helps rejuvenates and moisturises the skin resulting in a natural glow and fresh look.My guide to using the Royal Coffee Scrub in Coconut/ Review I sampled and tried the Royal Coffee Scrub in Coconut. I firstly removed all make up and products from my face and washed it with warm water. I then opened the Royal Coffee scrub in coconut and poured the coffee scrub granules/ product onto the palm of my hand before placing it onto my face and body. The scrub has a very strong coffee aroma mixed with other fragrances which I really like and find relaxing. The scrub granules itself has a very soft and silky texture to it and applies easily onto the skin. I would recommend washing the skin first so the scrub sticks onto it better. I also found when applying you do not need to over apply it onto the skin just cover all areas. The product stays and sticks onto the skin well and you can feel a tingling sensation when the application is completed. This scrub can be used on the whole body as well as the face. I didn't feel the need to rub the product or exfoliate it into my skin but instead I kept the product to settle into my skin and pores for over 15 minutes before washing it off in the bath with warm water. The product washes off as easy as it is to apply and it does not stick to your hair. The results are immediate. I really noticed a glow to my skin, it also felt fully moisturised, smooth and rejuvenated after one use. I had a few spots on my chin and I found that the scrub really helped them heal. I also suffer from Eczema around my elbow region and because I used the coffee scrub all over my body including this area, I noticed it really soothed my Eczema and reduced the inflammation and itchiness/irritation of the skin. I highly recommend the Royal Coffee Scrub the results are amazing and immediate which is quite rare in skin care products that usually take weeks or months to see such quick results. It is also very beneficial for those that suffer from Eczema and skin conditions like myself because it really helps reduce inflammation and irritation in those areas. The only negative I have for this product is that it can be a bit messy when applying because the coffee granules are so small but whats a little mess in the bathroom if you achieve your goal in getting a great result? I will definitely be using the Royal Coffee Scrub again in my next Sunday Pamper Sessions! You can purchase the Royal Coffee Scrub in Coconut and Ylang Ylang plus more flavours for just £9.95! You can also shop and view their other product categories on their website (in the link below).https://naturellecosmetics.com
Mama Naturelle | Pregnancy, Childbirth, and Motherhood, the Natural Way
Hi Mamas! I’m finally in the home stretch (6 and a half weeks to go!) and it’s starting to really hit me that I’m about to give birth. That I’m about to go without sleep for weeks on end and experience bad latches, chapped nipples, and spit up again.
The postpartum/newborn stage is a tough one, we all know that, and it’s essential to feel ready (or at least as ready as possible!) to go through this challenging (but beautiful!) journey.
I took my time compiling my December picks, and that’s because most of the items listed below have to do with caring for a newborn baby or recovering from childbirth. I wanted this list to be extensive, and as helpful as possible to moms about to experience this stage.
You’ll find a variety of goodies here – from cute baby accessories and nursery must haves to postpartum must haves – many of which I did not have for Liam’s birth. I hope you’re as impressed with them as I was, and that some of these make it into your Amazon cart 🙂 I’m so excited to try them out with baby Noah!
Hiccapop is an Amazon bestseller, and it’s obvious why: they have the most amazing products! I love their pregnancy pillow wedge (perfect for sleeping during the third trimester) and Day Dreamer, a cozy lounger/travel bed for newborns and infants. I love how lightweight it is, so I can move it throughout the house when necessary. So much more practical than lugging a bassinet or heavy duty swing around!
There are lots of nursing covers and bibs out there, but I haven’t found many that I love as much as the ones by Amaroo . These ethnic, boho prints are adorable and stylish, and will match pretty much any outfit in my little guy’s closet 🙂
I mean… how darn adorable are these baby moccasins by Little Lovebug Company? I am obsessed with them and can’t wait for Noah to wear his. I love that they actually have soft soles with non-slip grips. Perfect for the early standing days – less slips, rips, and trips! There are tons of sizes available for babies (6-12 months) through toddlerhood (size 6).
Ashtonbee has such a diverse amount of products available on their website. I just had to order their silicone breast pump to facilitate the pumping process when we’re on the go, but I also thought these crawling knee pads were a fantastic idea, too! I remember cringing when Liam started crawling on our wooden floors. Not super gentle on their little knees… but luckily, with number 2, problem fixed! Can’t wait to cheer our little crawler on!
The international maternity brand Sweet Mommy has you covered for everything breastfeeding and newborn-related. For a winter pregnancy, I found so many amazing items on their website! I love their stroller cover (third photo) to make sure Liam is always bundled in and comfortable, and the Mommy & Me coat (fourth photo) is possibly the greatest invention ever. This cost has a zip insert to accommodate your little one! Their nursing tops are also incredibly soft and flattering. I got them in so many colors!
Silk and More has been super popular on Etsy since 2009, and for good reason: their robes are super duper comfortable! I opted for a terry cloth one (in navy) because I know it will come in handy at the hospital and beyond once baby Noah gets here. You have to check out their bridesmaids robes, kaftans, hospital gowns, and more!
Goodbye unflattering hospital robes! I am super excited about wearing this adorable, floral robe by Comfy Mommy on the big day. They have so many options that work for a ton of different occasions. Check them out!
For my recovery with Liam, I froze maxi pads with witch hazel ahead of time and separated them from one another with saran wrap. This was such a great idea and I was so glad to have stocked up on them! God knows I needed it… This time, however, I found an even easier solution with VagiKool: reusable feminine cold packs! Probably not the most glamorous item on this list, but definitely one of the most useful!
I heard of these Milkelle collection shells when I was nursing Liam and thought they were a great idea, but never got a chance to get a set. This time, however, I’m prepared! I’ll be able to collect those “liquid gold” drops that would otherwise go to waste during feeds and randomly throughout the day. Genius!
I love a good drying rack for baby bottles and accessories, and this one by Lullababy comes with a brush/sponge cleaning set, too! What I love is that this drying rack is simple, and easier to clean than most of the fancier ones on the market. Perfect for our busy household!
These Baomosi nursing bras are perfect because they’re not ridiculously bulky like some of the ones I got my hands on the first time around with Liam. They’re comfortable, but also really cute. Bonus: they come in packs of threes!
If your baby has reflux or nasal congestion, or simply prefers to be propped up while in a lying down position, this Conforzy wedge is perfect for you! It has the ideal 12 degree angle recommended by pediatricians for newborns that use bassinets. It’s also waterproof and BPA free!
I’ve had this Snuggle Me for a while now and have been dying to use it with baby Noah! The summer Liam was born, my mom would take him outside and rock him to sleep on her lap. This simple lounger will be perfect for these tender moments. The padded sides make for a safe and cozy nap!
I have a confession to make… I owned not one, but two, baby wearing slings when Liam was a newborn, but never used them. Yes, I blamed it on the fact that it was way too hot that year in June/July, and that Liam would cry every time I attempted to place him in, but I definitely didn’t give babywearing a fair chance.
This time around, however, with a winter baby, I intend to take full advantage of it. Lil Peepers Keepers has a beautiful collection of baby slings that will work for any mom. Rebecca, the shop owner, also provides a wonderful guide on how to properly wear your baby. It may seem easy, but there is definitely a learning curve!
In our home, extra storage is everything. Meet Peekabags: these adorable, collapsible bins are perfect for everything nursery-related, and I love how versatile they can be.
I like to think that we will be able to reuse a lot of the nursery items we had for Liam as a baby, but his brush set was unfortunately beyond saving… Luckily, I found Babylinos on Amazon. Their wooden brush set is just perfect: you get four different brush types (a cradle cap silicone brush, natural goat hair bristle brush, wood bristle massager brush, and comb!) which, in my opinion, is a great deal. Liam had cradle cap as a newborn and I wish we’d had the silicone brush to gently massage his scalp instead of using a towel to rub the flakes off. This is a great set that I think will come in very handy in the next few months, if not years. Wouldn’t it make a great baby shower gift, too?
These genius hangers are the perfect addition to our home. I always wondered what I would do with all of these teeny tiny velvet hangers when our boys outgrew them… turns out I should’ve gotten GroHangers all along! They actually GROW with your child. How amazing is that?
I’ve written about Dear Baby Gear (in Noah’s woodland nursery post), but I have to share their beautiful (and reversible!) infant car seat canopies, too. Liam hated falling asleep on the go if it wasn’t pitch dark, so we always threw a swaddle or blanket over his car seat. Not super practical when we wanted to check on him. This canopy is perfect for situations like ours! Can’t wait to use it with Noah!
I’ve written about the known benefit of Amber before (Amber Teething Necklaces: Do They Really Work?), but mostly as a way to offer relief for teething babies. I was blown away when I found Umai Amber on Amazon. They focus on the wellbeing of babies, but also moms! From maternity necklaces to relieve heartburn and anxiety to postpartum necklaces to help with balance and positivity, you can take a deep breath knowing you’ve got that extra support. And if you don’t buy into the virtues of amber, read this.
I actually can’t believe I didn’t think of buying these when I was breastfeeding Liam. By using these cloth nursing pads by Andy Met Ali (made from anti-bacterial bamboo rayon), you will avoid sending disposable breast pads to landfills. Even their packaging is eco friendly! And if you didn’t think of using breast pads at all, definitely do consider it. As sleep deprived Mamas (aka zombies), the last thing we need to worry about is milk stains!
I’m obsessed with these nautical rail guards by Love Bug Linens. Unfortunately, I found their shop after doing Liam’s big boy room reveal, but their rail guards add something super special to his bedroom that I wish I could’ve captured on the reveal video. For years, we had a rail guard set from Amazon that was super hard to untie, so these are such an upgrade. Their quality is incredible!
That’s it for my postpartum/newborn must-haves, Mamas!
Hope you like what you saw. Feel free to reach out if you have any questions!
Naturelle Royal Coffee Scrub – More Than Greens
I’m a big fan of coffee. Okay, “fan” is an understatement; I basically don’t function without my morning caffeine hit. So what’s better than simply drinking a cup of Joe to wake yourself up? Bathing in it!
When the lovely folk at Naturelle Cosmetics very kindly sent me a pack of their Royal Coffee Scrub to test out, I enthusiastically took on the challenge!
Disclaimer: I was provided with a free sample product in exchange for a fair and honest review. Full disclaimer below.
There’s six floral and fruity varieties in the range and I tested out the indulgent and refreshing Chocolate Orange. Made from 100% organic ingredients, the scrub is full of delicious skin boosting goodness. There’s a blend of coffee seed powders, natural oils (avocado, jojoba, almond and orange), and cocoa seed butter in one delicious-smelling sachet, which exfoliate, moisturise and brighten skin.
The advertised benefits of coffee as a body scrub are vast and varied. Coffee exfoliates and smooths skin, has anti-inflammatory properties, improves blood flow, and can even reduce the appearance of cellulite (only temporarily, dammit!) by firming the skin.
Caffeine is an antioxidant so it’s said that coffee scrubs can also help reduce visible signs of ageing such as wrinkles, sunspots and fine lines.
On top of all this, the scrub smells amazing! The strong coffee and refreshing orange scents definitely revived me after a busy week at work.
After a good scrub, my skin felt revived as well. It was seriously soft and smooth, in a way that my everyday skin routine just can’t compare with.
Post scrub, the strong coffee smell washed away, leaving my skin smelling more like zingy orange with just a hint of coffee and cocoa.
There was no oily residue on my skin (though I suggest a good rinse of your shower or bath post-scrub – this stuff gets everywhere!) and it felt brighter and more hydrated.
I used the scrub weekly over a few weekends, each time my skin feeling just that little bit more lush.
At £9.95 for 200g, Royal Coffee Scrub may seem a tad pricey. However, the chemical-free scrub is a real treat for your skin and a little goes a long way; you’ll get multiple pamper sessions out of one pouch!
All products by family-run Naturelle are vegan-friendly, certified organic, and come in cute, recyclable packaging. On top of this, the brand are against animal testing, which gives them major points in my book!
I can honestly say that I’m a coffee scrub convert. But then, it’s coffee so why should I be surprised?!

I am a coffee addict. I may only have one mocha a day but I can barely survive without it. It is my treat to myself and represents a little bit of luxury. Last week I wrote how I was looking forward to some me-time this week to exfoliate prior to epilation. I was thrilled to be sent Naturelle’s Royal Coffee Scrub Ylang Ylang to try out. That’s right. An exfoliating scrub made with two types of coffee! This version has the added bonus of including ylang ylang in the ingredients. This has a relaxing effect and can be used to relieve stress. This product comes in a really subtle golden packet and is surprisingly heavy. I was unsure how much to use so estimated that it would be about a tablespoon for my legs. I don’t know what I was expecting but it did look and smell just like coffee grounds (or soil), very natural and the fragrance was simply divine. It was bizarre. Most of the powder ended up in the bath giving the impression that I was sitting in a bath of coffee. The smell was great 🙂 The mess was quickly washed away and left no stains on the bath or the exfoliating brush. This product will keep going for ages so represents excellent value for money at only £9.95 per pack. Personally, I would have preferred a gel or paste to keep it adhered to my skin while exfoliating with the brush. With a glove, it was much more precise so that is how I will apply it in future. The packet is resealable which is a brilliant idea. My skin felt a lot fresher after exfoliating with the coffee scrub and I really can’t wait to use it again soon. I have promised myself that I will try to make time for myself once a week and a scrub is a perfect way to relax and improve your body. The coffee scrub also comes in a variety of other flavours such as chocolate orange and cinnamon vanilla which sound amazing!
